Breed Standard For the Pomeranian--a compact, active toy dog. The average weight is from 3 to 7 pounds. They should have dense, thick coats. They can be a variety of colors: red, orange, cream, sable, black, brown, blue, and can be brindle, parti-color, or black and tan. Pomeranians have animated and outgoing personalities.
